My name is Karika and I am the founder of The Ancient Womb. I created this brand and mission as a vessel to bring forth the ancient wisdom that resides within us all and the very Earth that holds us.

I am a certified herbalist and herbal medicine has been a guiding light for me as I have grown into adulthood, connecting me back into ancestral ways and healing spiritual and physical fractures.

Tea has been a central ritual in my daily life for years and the unique medicine and spirit of each herb opens and soothes my heart. Herbalism is a home that is within all of us. I hope that these herbal offerings provide you with what you truly need and desire. 

My focus is womb-based due to my own experiences as a woman. I have had dysmenorrhea for all of my bleeding years so far and though the pain is often immense, I have gained spiritual insight and fortitude that I otherwise would not embody. I am a student of the wisdom of The Ancient Womb, the ancient body of being, hence the name.
